Job Role:

As an SSD Validation Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will:

• Define test plans and develop test scripts to validate SSD firmware for Micron NAND-based systems and solutions.
• Perform validation across functional, system-level, and customer quality-centric tests.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of NVMe/PCIe specifications, NVMe Cloud SSD specifications, and customer-specific requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Micron’s Hyperscale and Datacenter customers throughout the product life cycle, enhancing cycle times and customer quality for Micron SSD products.
• Communicate program and project statuses, issues, concerns, and strategies clearly and effectively, including developing meaningful performance indicators.
• Navigate ambiguity and operate independently with minimal direction to achieve defined goals.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and successful validation outcomes.
• Comprehend and articulate validation strategies, plans, and progress updates.

Key Technical Skills:

NVMe, PCIe, SSD Firmware Validation, NAND, Test Plan Development, System Level Testing, Customer Quality Testing, Test Script Development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in SSD validation or related areas.
• Strong understanding of NVMe/PCIe specifications and SSD architectures.
• Experience defining test plans, writing test cases, and developing validation scripts.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated and able to handle ambiguity with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience collaborating with customers on validation projects is a plus.
